Pop-Up Audubon I

Families and children of all ages can enjoy nature and explore the park on their own schedule at Pop-Up Audubon I! Join Prospect Park Alliance at locations around the park as we bring our favorite activities from the Prospect Park Audubon Center on the road in easy-to-borrow play and go kits.

Pop-Up Audubon features a range of fun nature activities and games, as well as a birdwatching checklist with binoculars, and much more. Pop-Up Programs are made possible through the generous support of Con Edison.

It’s not just the bees—birds are important pollinators, too! Join the Prospect Park Alliance at Pop-Up Audubon where families and children can learn about the value of pollinators through guided crafts, games and staff-led tours.

  • Pollinator Game Hour, 1-2 pm: Join Prospect Park staff and participate in games that teach about the relationship between pollinators and flowers.
  • Discovery Walk, 2-3 pm: After learning how to use binoculars, join our naturalists to identify some of the 250 species of birds that call Prospect Park home.
