Sukkot Celebration in Prospect Park
Join the Prospect Park Alliance, One Crown Heights, Jewish Community Relations Council, Crown Heights Central, the NYC Office for the Prevention of Hate Crimes and Partners Against the Hate for a celebration of Sukkot, a Jewish holiday that celebrates the gathering of the harvest. Come gather at a sukkah, a foliage-covered temporary shelter where families spend time and celebrate the holiday. Enjoy arts and crafts, refreshments, and fun nature activities presented by Prospect Park Alliance naturalists. Plus, youth under 18 and 1 guardian per group can enjoy free rides on the park’s historic Carousel from 12–2 pm with RSVP (check in with us at the Prospect Park Alliance table).
