Tell Every Amazing Lady Brooklyn 5K Fun Run
Tell Every Amazing Lady (T.E.A.L.) will host their annual Brooklyn 5K Fun Run on Saturday, September 12th in Prospect Park to support ovarian cancer survivors and their families. This is meant to be a true fun run–that means you can run, walk, skip or jump your way to the finish line, all while supporting survivors of ovarian cancer and their loved ones! Additionally, there will be booths and festivities at Bartel Pritchard Square.
Founded in 2009, Tell Every Amazing Lady’s mission is to offer women’s health and wellness services, including public awareness and education of the signs, symptoms and risk factors of ovarian cancer, provide support to those impacted by the disease and raise funds for research in order to find a screening test and a cure. They are a grassroots, national, New York City-based non-profit that has established the only ovarian cancer community center in the United States, right in Brooklyn.
