Yom Kippur School Holiday in Prospect Park

Enjoy family friendly programming in Prospect Park on the school holiday for Yom Kippur.

Nature Exploration, 10 – 1 pm
Prospect Park Audubon Center, Free

Join Prospect Park Alliance for nature education programs on Thursdays and Fridays at the Prospect Park Audubon Center, the first urban Audubon Center in the nation.

Nature Around Us, 10 – 1 pm: Enjoy different seasonal discovery stations and nature themed activities that will introduce you to the plants, insects and animals that call the park home.
Animal Encounter, 11 – 12 pm: Join Alliance Naturalists in learning more about the animals in the Audubon Center’s collection. This program starts promptly at 11 am.
Nature on the Go!, 12 – 1 pm: An Alliance Naturalist will lead children and families to areas near the Audubon Center, where you can learn about the nature that is all around us. This program leaves promptly at 11 am.

CANCELLED: Carousel Rides, 12 – 5 pm 

Please note that due to inclement weather, the Prospect Park Carousel is not open on the Yom Kippur school holiday on Monday, September 25. Thank you for your understanding.

Children’s Corner, $3 per ride; $13 for a book of 5 tickets; Unlimited with Prospect Park Alliance Family Supporter membership or higher.
