On May 2, 2015 the Prospect Park Alliance, Loomstate and  Audubon New York hosted a plant education and bird walk. Loomstate’s Sustainability Director Rhett Godfrey, guided guests through Spring’s blooming native plants, including sassafras, mugwort, curly docks, dandelion, knotweeds, and wood sorrel. Prospect Park Naturalist, Eve Schwartz, led guests through the park on an interactive, educational tour of birds and wildlife.
