The most exclusive invite in all of Brooklyn. Tonight’s guests will have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to bid on a singular private dinner for up to 20 guests hosted by five-time James Beard Award nominated chef and writer Clare de Boer, high inside the historic Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Arch at Grand Army Plaza.

Clare de Boer
Clare is a five-time James Beard Award-nominated chef and writer. She is the owner of Stissing House, co-founder of King, and coauthor of The King Cookbook. She writes “The Best Bit,” a newsletter, as well as for The New York Times. Clare lives in Park Slope with her husband and four sons.

The Venue
You will be dining at a one of a kind location in the Gallery at the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Arch. The Menu
Collaborate with Clare de Boer on a custom family-style menu for the evening, complete with drink pairings.

Important Conditions
The Gallery is accessible only via spiral staircase. All guests will need to sign safety waivers before ascending the Arch. Dinner must be scheduled on a Monday – Thursday, before June 2027.

Pledge for the Park: Adopt the Final Horse on the Prospect Park Carousel

Be a part of history. Leave your legacy by permanently adopting the last unnamed horse on our historic 1912 Mangels-Carmel Carousel. The first Park Champion to pledge a gift of $15,000 during tonight’s paddle raise will secure the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to name this magnificent hand-carved horse, then take an inaugural ride!

The 1990 restoration of the Prospect Park Carousel was the first major project undertaken by the Alliance. This one-of-a-kind carousel features 53 hand-carved horses, as well as a giraffe, lion, deer and two dragon-pulled chariots. The Carousel’s Wurlitzer organ, with 141 pipes and 16 bells, adds a joyous, melodic backdrop to every ride.

Pledge Level: $15,000
