Become an EcoZone Volunteer
Join a dedicated team of volunteers working alongside Prospect Park Alliance landscape management staff to sustain and restore Prospect Park, helping to keep Brooklyn’s Backyard green and vibrant. Volunteers will undertake hands‑on forest restoration and landscape maintenance projects: removing invasive plants, planting trees, shrubs and ground cover, maintaining trails, and helping to shape bio-diverse, healthy forests, meadows and other natural areas throughout the park.
Please note that the EcoZone Volunteer Crew is an eight‑month program. Recruitment is based on current needs. Create a volunteer profile to receive updates about recruitment and upcoming opportunities.
