The Triplets of Belleville with Live Score by Benoît Charest

Thursday, July 14 , 7:30 pm – 10:30 pm, 2016
2016-07-14T00:00:00-04:00
11225, NY, Brooklyn

The Triplets of Belleville is presented at the Bandshell as part of BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! Festival, presented in partnership with the Prospect Park Alliance. For the latest information, including weather updates, set times, seating configurations, and FAQs, please visit the BRIC website.

This unclassifiable Oscar-nominated (Best Animated Feature, Best Song) film—a fantastical caper involving the Tour de France and the French Mafia—becomes a wild spectacle featuring dancing, singing, foley sound effects, and the original hot swing score performed live by its composer Benoît Charest and his 9-piece Le Terrible Orchestre de Belleville. With the Paris-raised singer-songwriter Jessica Fichot, whose “sound is cosmic cabaret, a delicious blend of acoustic styles delivered with syncopated verve.” (SF Chronicle)

Gates open an hour before the performance unless otherwise noted, and all performances are rain or shine.
