Prospect Park is one of the best spots for largemouth bass in NYC and summer is prime time to try your hand at the sport. Don’t want to fish? Then come socialize, listen to live music and have a cold one on our dock with the beautiful park as your backdrop. Fishing rods, bait and instruction will be provided. This is a 21+ event. $25 per person includes drinks and BBQ |

Maciste All’Inferno and Reverend Billy and the Stop Shopping Choir s will perform at the Bandshell as part of BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! Sexmob, globetrotting stalwarts of NYC's downtown jazz scene led by trumpeter Steven Bernstein, performs their original score to Maciste All'inferno, a seminal work of the Italian silent era. In celebration of the 150th anniversary of Prospect Park, Brooklyn Historical Society and Prospect Park Alliance present an exhibition that celebrates the founding vision of the Park, traces its social and historical trajectories, and examines the important role that Prospect Park has played as “Brooklyn’s Backyard” for 150 years.
