Babe: Pig in the City (1998)

Wednesday, July 31 , 7 pm – 10 pm

Brooklyn Borough President Eric L. Adams and Prospect Park Alliance present A Summer Movie Under the Stars in partnership with Brooklyn’s  Nitehawk Cinema

RSVP to let us know you are coming!

On Wednesday, July 31, join us for a free, family-friendly screening of Babe: Pig in the City (1998). Babe, fresh from his victory in the sheepherding contest, returns to Farmer Hoggett's farm, but after Farmer Hoggett is injured and unable to work, Babe must go to the big city in to save the farm. The pre-movie entertainment is a tribute set dedicated to director George Miller by Morricone Youth, a NYC band dedicated to writing, performing and recording music written for the moving image. Neighborhood partners will also provide onsite activities.

Musical entertainment will start at 7 p.m. and the film will begin shortly after sundown at Long Meadow North, located nearest to the Grand Army Plaza entrance at Eastern Parkway. The closest subway station is the Eastern Parkway Brooklyn Museum stop on the 2, 3, and 4 lines. The rain date is August 1.

Timeline:
6 pm: Pre-Movie Fun courtesy of our community partners
7 pm: Live Musical Entertainment
8:20 pm: Movie Begins
