Bike the Branches Family Tour

Brooklyn Public Library (BPL) and Prospect Park Alliance present this car-free tour around Prospect Park’s Park Drive to celebrate the Park’s 150th Anniversary! Families can get their Bike the Branches Passport stamped at the BPL Kidsmobile located at the Children’s Corner and at our pop-up tent on the 16th Street Lawn. You can also download your Prospect Park Family Tour scavenger hunt activity sheet to complete as you ride, run or walk!

Enjoy fun, family-friendly programming throughout the day at the LeFrak Center at Lakeside, Zucker Natural Exploration Area and other areas in the Park. Show your Bike the Branches passport for free gifts, courtesy of Prospect Park Alliance, at Pop-Up Audubon at Long Meadow, near the Bandshell & Peninsula, Lefferts Historic House and the Carousel at the Children’s Corner. Recharge and refresh at Pony Express at the Carousel or Bluestone Café at the LeFrak Center at Lakeside.

Please note: Children can ride their bikes on pathways, but adults must walk their bikes, and adults also need to follow the rules of the road on the Park Drive. Please click here for more information regarding biking rules in Prospect Park.
