BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! Festival: Kronos Quartet, Sam Green

Doors 6:30pm/Show 7:30pm

Join BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! on Thursday, July 14 for a performance of A Thousand Thoughts: A Live Documentary with the Kronos Quartet Written and Directed by Sam Green and Joe Bini, with opener Roomful of Teeth.

Legendary classical-music group Kronos Quartet and filmmaker Sam Green take the stage to create a “live documentary,” wildly creative and experimental in form, that chronicles Kronos’ groundbreaking career through archival footage, photos, and interviews with longtime collaborators like Philip Glass, Laurie Anderson, Terry Riley, Tanya Tagaq, and Steve Reich. GRAMMY-winning vocal ensemble Roomful Of Teeth, relentless explorers of global music traditions in their own right, starts things off.

Please note: RSVPs are encouraged but not required. Entry is first come first served, but RSVPs help you stay up-to-date on show information. See you at #CelebrateBrooklyn!
