Family Christmas Bird Count

Join Prospect Park Alliance at the Prospect Park Audubon Center for our Family Christmas Bird Count. On December 14 + 15, blooming naturalists of all ages will conduct a mock bird count and learn about the official Christmas Bird Count—a census of birds in the Western Hemisphere, performed annually in the winter by volunteer birdwatchers and administered by the National Audubon Society. This event helps conservation researchers track the long-term health of bird populations.

Counts leave promptly on December 14 + 15 at 10:30 am, 11:30 am and 12:30 pm.
