Virtual Program: the History of Lefferts Historic House
Join Turnstile Tours and Prospect Park Alliance for this virtual tour of the stories, artifacts, and archives of the Lefferts Historic House, one of the oldest Dutch farmhouses remaining in Brooklyn. House Manager Nick Lockyer will guide us through this online program to explore the family, house, and history of the Flatbush community from the 1600’s to the present day, including stories that are often overlooked. Learn about how the house was relocated to Prospect Park, upcoming restoration efforts, and the role the site plays as a cultural resource for the community.
