Summer is ramping up at LeFrak Center at Lakeside with a range of family-friendly activities. On July 15, catch the World Cup Semi-final at Duck Island Cafe and Bar followed by a soccer clinic hosted by Brooklyn FC. Plus, the team is offering discounted match tickets with a portion of proceeds benefitting the Alliance, so get your tickets today. From July 24 through August 28, bust a move at our first Roller Skating Summer Music Series, featuring live performances, sunset roller skating and family-friendly fun.
Soccer Clinic and World Cup Viewing with Brooklyn FC

The World Cup comes to Brooklyn’s Backyard! Join Prospect Park Alliance and Brooklyn FC to celebrate the World Cup in Prospect Park.
- World Cup Viewing: 3-6 pm: Grab a bite and catch the World Cup semi-final match at Duck Island Cafe and Bar.
- Free Soccer Skills Clinic: 6-7 pm: Level up your game with the Brooklyn FC at a free soccer skills clinic for ages 5-13, and get free swag from Brooklyn’s professional soccer club.
Plus, all youth who attend will receive a free ticket to an upcoming Brooklyn FC match, with discounted tickets for accompanying adults, so you can keep the soccer spirit going all summer long. Participants should wear closed-toed, rubber-soled shoes as the clinic takes place on the LeFrak Center at Lakeside roller rink.

Join us at the LeFrak Center at Lakeside for our first Roller Skating Summer Music Series, which transforms our covered rink into one of Brooklyn’s hottest destinations. Kicking off Friday, July 24, and running through August 28, the series will feature a diverse lineup of emerging and established artists for live performances, as well as special rooftop experiences with sunset views of the park’s scenic lake; local, seasonal food and beverage offerings from Duck Island Cafe and Bar; and family-friendly entertainment and activities, all in the heart of Prospect Park.
