Enjoy Free, Outdoor Movie Screenings Under the Stars in Fort Greene Park and Prospect Park presented by NewYork-Presbyterian
Prospect Park Alliance, Fort Greene Park Conservancy, and Rooftop Films announce Summer Movies in the Park, presented by NewYork-Presbyterian. This free, outdoor movie series in Prospect Park and Fort Greene Park takes place on Wednesday nights this summer, with screenings on August 5 and August 12 in Prospect Park, and August 26 and September 9 in Fort Greene Park.
“NewYork-Presbyterian is proud to support Prospect Park Alliance for another year of Summer Movies in the Park, and the opportunity it creates for neighbors, families and friends to come together and enjoy Brookyln’s public spaces,” said Juan Mejia, President of NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. “Seeing an outdoor movie in the park brings Brooklyn residents together, fostering the social connections that help communities thrive and support overall.”
“Hanging out with friends and family to see an outdoor movie is the best way to cool off on a summer evening. We’re so grateful to NewYork-Presbyterian for supporting the continuation of this popular series in our parks, and to our partners Prospect Park Alliance and Rooftop Films for making it happen,” said Rosamond Fletcher, Executive Director, Fort Greene Park Conservancy.
“There’s no better way to spend a summer night than a movie in the park,” said Morgan Monaco, President, Prospect Park Alliance. “We thank NewYork-Presbyterian for their support of this long-cherished tradition of bringing our community together for free movie nights under the stars in Brooklyn’s Backyard, and are grateful to Fort Greene Park Conservancy and Rooftop Films for their partnership.”
