Risha Gorig: The Journey

The Journey is a sculptural installation by Brooklyn-based artist Risha Gorig that takes the shape of a flock of pink birds soaring in the sky. In this sculpture, one can correlate the migratory nature of birds, the vulnerability and tribulations of embarking on a voyage, with that of human existence. Like many of the artist’s previous works, this piece is kinetic and reminiscent of mobile art.
