Did you know? Prospect Park is home a thriving population of chipmunks, made possible by the continued health of the park ecosystem. What better mascot to encourage visitors to Be a Park Champion? Before we can formally introduce this furry friend–
we need your help choosing a name.
We received over 500 submissions from the community for the name of our new mascot—thank you! Some names were nominated multiple times (like Parker, with 13 entries) while others were unique. Prospect Park Alliance naturalists narrowed down the list to 5 names—vote for your favorite by August 17!
