Lakeside is the largest and most ambitious project in Prospect Park since its creation over 150 years ago. Spanning 26 acres, this $74 million restoration by the Prospect Park Alliance transforms the southeast corner of Prospect Park into a popular scenic and recreational destination. The Samuel J. and Ethel LeFrak Center at Lakeside offers ice skating, figure skating, curling, and hockey in the winter, and roller skating, biking, boating and water play in the warmer months. The Bluestone Cafe at the Chase Pavilion provides light fare and beverages year round. Love skating in Prospect Park? Sign up for our eNews to learn about activities and upcoming events. |
