LeFrak Center at Lakeside

COVID-19 Update:  Starting Saturday, August 1, the LeFrak Center at Lakeside will be open daily for biking and Splash Pad, with food and drink available for takeaway from the Bluestone Cafe. Due to an equipment delay, boat rentals will begin the following week, we apologize for any inconvenience.

Roller skating is not offered at this time. Please note that our water play feature, Splash Pad, is not regularly sanitized, and patrons are requested to follow COVID-19 safety guidelines posted on site, including adhering to mask wearing and social distancing protocols.

Lakeside is the largest and most ambitious project in Prospect Park since its creation over 150 years ago. Spanning 26 acres, this $74 million restoration by the Prospect Park Alliance transforms the southeast corner of the Park into a popular scenic and recreational destination. The Samuel J. and Ethel LeFrak Center at Lakeside offers ice skating, figure skating, curling, and hockey in the winter, and roller skating, biking, boating and water play in the warmer months. The Bluestone Cafe at the Chase Pavilion provides light fare and beverages year round. Become an Alliance member for great perks year round, including free skating days.
