Health and Wellness in Prospect Park

As part of our mission to serve the community, Prospect Park Alliance is committed to sustaining Brooklyn’s Backyard as an essential space for health and well-being, and connecting our community with the services they need to thrive.

Time spent in nature helps reduce stress, lower blood pressure, relieve anxiety and depression, and boost brain power, sleep quality and much more. Parks also give our communities vital places to gather,  strengthening social ties and lessening isolation.

Beyond the health benefits of simply being in the park, the Alliance has partnered with other Brooklyn organizations to provide free seasonal wellness activities, health and nutrition services and much more.
