Celebrating The World Cup at Prospect Park
The FIFA World Cup is a unique opportunity for global soccer fans to come together in one of the most vibrant and diverse cities in the world. Whether you’re coming from Flatbush or France, Park Slope or Paraguay, Prospect Park Alliance is thrilled to welcome both new and old visitors to Brooklyn’s Backyard.
This summer, you can catch World Cup matches at Duck Island Cafe. Located at LeFrak Center at Lakeside, the cafe is the perfect place to pull up with a bite and a beverage to watch the biggest games with friends.
As part of Mayor Mamdani and Team Wonder’s NYC Neighborhood Passport Program, visitors can also get their passport stamped at Duck Island Cafe. Starting on June 11th, thousands of NYC Neighborhood Passport booklets will be available at every branch library in all five boroughs and at select events. Participants can collect unique stamps from cultural institutions across the city, so make sure you stop by Duck Island to get one from Prospect Park. While you’re there, stay and play at LeFrak Center at Lakeside for roller skating, pickleball and boating!
