Restoration of the Prospect Park Vale Exhibit: Central Library
Prospect Park Alliance, the non-profit that sustains Prospect Park in partnership with the City, presents an exhibit about plans to restore the 27 acres in the Vale, in the northeast corner of the park. The City has allocated $40 million in capital funding to transform this area of the park, a gateway and front door of the park to the Crown Heights community and beyond.
The vision for the Vale was shaped through an intensive, two-year community outreach effort by Prospect Park Alliance, and now the Alliance is re-engaging the public prior to kicking off the design.
